The Story of Polvarth Point
Polvarth Point has been in the family for ten years and has been much enjoyed by the family over the years. We fell in love with the house on first sight, drawn by the amazing views over the St Mawes harbour, the Percuil River to the historic house of Place and out to sea.
Polvarth was one of the first houses to built on this prominent peninsula over 100 years ago. The house was occupied by American Service men during the Second World War and has since then only exchanged owners a small number of times.
The gardens and views at Polvarth are some of the best in the village. Inside we have furnished the property as a luxury home, not as a holiday house. Our home is filled with fine art, beautiful Neptune furniture and kitchen and finest quality mattresses and down duvets.
Polvarth Point is the epitome of coastal luxury. Set above Summer’s Beach in St Mawes the property has fabulous views over the Rival Fal and beautifully manicured gardens. We have enjoyed many family holidays here and St Mawes is always a tonic for the soul. We have lovingly restored Polvarth Point with comfort and luxury in mind.
